Vehicle Crime

Members of Rugby Rural South Safer Neighbourhood Team were out educating residents who had left their vehicles unlocked.

There has been a slight increase of reports of items on display being stolen from vehicles which have been left open.

The team have spoken to the registered owners who had there vehicles unlocked and have given them advice.

We have heard that this has unsettled some residents and this was not our intention. We have been listening to communities at our drop in and this type of crime has been raised on a number of occasions.
